This watch defies all my expectations. Extremely light and strong and bristling with functions. As visible in the photo it is bang on in sync with the actual atomic time. Had to wait a bit due to a national festival in Japan but when I inquired about my order Sakura responded super quick with an estimate for delivery. As it turned out the estimate was correct and the package arrived in excellent condition. All in all a 5/5 experience and worth the import fees.

The GWG-2000 is a great watch! Probably my favorite of the G-Shock family. Has everything I wanted and more. Also, I chose this particular model because of the watch face, it pops compared to the 1A1JF. I also didn't mind the green band but bands are easily replaceable. Overall, I would recommend this watch to any G-Shock fans! Price is also great compared to MSRP.

A nice watch with fantastic luminous dial and hands.
Service from Sakura was great. Unfortunately the minute hand only lines up correctly at 15 seconds past the minute. It steps every 5 seconds so is three steps out. This is clear in the photo where the hands are "automatically aligned to the reference position". Disappointed (with Seiko) that a visit a jeweller is the only solution to this. I was aware that hand alignment is not considered a reason to return but I didn't expect a stepper-motor movement have this kind of error.

This is a beautiful and awesome watch, especially for the price. For the price, you will be hard pressed to find a seiko or even some micro brands with the specs and craftsmanship that this citizen has. The size is perfect for my 6.5” wrist and I think my gada watch search is finally over.
As far as shipping I used fedex because for international shipping I have always had a good experience with them, they deliver quickly and my package don’t come smashed to smithereens. Luckily fedex was the cheapest shipping option so that worked out well. I placed my order with Sakura on the 3rd, it was shipped on the 5th and delivered on the 7th to the US. The watch was packaged in its citizen box then wrapped in some thin foam sheet then put in a slightly bigger box with some paper padding, so I was really happy to see it was packaged well. I couldn’t be happier with the watch, the shipping and the overall buying experience with Sakura. I would definitely buy from Sakura again.

This Seiko MODELLISTA Special Edition is beautiful with attractive green accent and black bezel, not to mention it is a solar watch with radio wave correction function (although it took several attempts to radio sync the watch). Great watch. Lightweight from being titanium. Syncing the time to the atomic clock was easy using an app. Shortcomings: bracelet feels a little cheap and the lume is not strong. Still I love this great tool watch.

If something says "Made in Japan" and "Seiko", you can rest assured that you are getting a very high quality product; this watch is a perfect example of that. I was looking at this watch for months before finally giving in and buying it. I am extremely happy I got it because the quality and style of this watch really make it look like it's 5x the price. I have shopped around a lot for watches and not many are able to grab my attention the way that this SARV001 can, not even expensive "luxury" watches. If I had to give any criticism, it would be about the bracelet. It's not an ugly or "bad" bracelet, but a watch like this definitely deserves something nicer. I will shop around for another bracelet and if I can update this review with the new bracelet, I will (I'm leaning towards Strapcode "Bandoleer" or "Endmill"). Dealing with Sakura was good, it took just under 2 weeks from the moment I bought the watch to get it from Osaka to Chicago (shipping was about 3 days, waiting for payment to clear is what took the most time). Remember to keep the date in Kanji as that is one of the cool features that makes this JDM watch so unique!

I believe there was a 10 day delivery window, till l received it, but l was amazed to find a DHL chap, with it on the 7th day..
Excellent tracking system allays any worries arising from anxiety..
On opening l nearly fainted with the quality, and workmanship. Seiko have made another ding dong watch..

Gorgeous watch - it is incredibly light!
Shipping to Australia was very speedy. Very happy with Sakura watches, and with my new watch.
It comes with a bracelet adjuster kit, as a novice I found it easy to use after reading the instructions.
Adjusting the time if you're not in one of the radio tower timezones takes a little effort but I was able to find the manual online and adjust easily.
I am very happy with my experience and this watch, I'd definitely recommend ordering from Sakura!

This is an excellent watch at an incredible price. The finishing on the case and dial is impeccable, the accuracy so far has been very good. The design in my opinion is minimalist and has its own identity. My only negatives are there are only 2 micro adjust holes in the clasp and no half links, so for me I either had to size it a little too loose or too tight. Service from Sakura was very good and delivery was fast, I would use them again.
