Perfect size for a dress watch (wrist size 15.5cm) with high accuracy quartz movement. The dial texture is just amazing and love how minimal it is with just the Seiko branding only. High Quality thin glossy croc watch strap.
The only gripe I have is the black onyx on the tip of the crown that's about it. Only wish all other Seiko watches is made this good at this price range, sadly this is not the case.

I didn't become aware of this watch until recently, and really liked the specs and reviews of it.
Very happy with the one I received from Sakura Watches.
I used the JJY Emulator app, and it took less than 5 minutes to set the time. It's a keeper!

My first purchase from Sakura, and I found their communications top notch. I had the watch in my hands about 10 days after ordering using DHL for shipping.
The PMV65-2271 is a JDM cult classic!
Still not available state-side, there are a few variations using the same module but none of them are in this smaller diameter case with the sapphire crystal and the on the fly adjustable clasp. 13 years after its launch, this is still a very impressive piece of tech packing a ton of "stuff" into its (relatively) normal sized case. The short lug to lug also allows it to be comfortably worn on slimmer wrists and not look out of place, especially since the pilot watch genre tend to be larger overall anyway.

I like the watch but the alignment of the bezel is off. Also, I had trouble with sizing the bracelet so I replaced it with a good NATO strap.

Bought this watch for my brother as a gift. It arrived quickly to California well packaged. The watch was in perfect condition with everything on the dial lining up including the seconds hand hitting each marker. The watch looks amazing and my brother is extremely happy with it. The rubber strap that is included is comfortable for him. The bezel action is not too firm and has nice soft clicks but still firm enough that it won’t get accidentally moved. One of the best things about this watch is the size. It’s perfect for anyone with a smaller wrist. Overall this is a great watch that I like and recommend for anyone else.

I have only had it for a couple weeks, but so far I can say with confidence: this is the best watch I own. The sunburst effect is striking and the Tough Solar works like a charm. The included tool to remove the links in the bracelet is quite convenient and definitely gives this the easiest-to-adjust stock bracelet I've worn, although the bracelet is a bit jangly and I swap it out often for leather straps. The 40mm case is quite conveniently sized even for my small-ish wrist (~16.5cm / 6.5in) and feels light and unobtrusive on my wrist while still catching the eye. The lume works well enough, the backlight is great, and the digital display is quite legible in most conditions although is a bit difficult to read under fluorescent light. The hands hit the mark quite well, and I'm particularly happy that the second hand hits the indices placed every 5 minutes. The Multiband 6 reception is a little spotty, but I'm in northern New England which is technically out of range for the WWVB broadcast regardless. Therefore, this isn't a disappointment to me but I can't attest to how reliable it is within range of a transmitter.
I'm very glad I purchased from Sakura Watches rather than buying off Amazon, so I could be confident I was receiving a new and authentic JDM product. Paying a little extra for that peace of mind and waiting a little longer for shipping was well worth it, and a brief delay in shipping caused by a holiday I hadn't been aware of when I purchased the watch was promptly addressed by their responsive customer support agent over email.
Overall a fantastic watch and a great purchase that I hope will last me many years to come!
