Premium watch with a clearly assumed industrial design. The sharp edges will not suit everyone but it certainly does look original and will get you some compliments.
The wrist band has modulating length which allows you to wear it more loose in case your jacket covers it. The case and overall watch is incredibly light. Can contact up to 4 satellites to check the right time and time zone.
It may be unusual at the beginning to realise that even your smartphone does not display the exact time in comparison. :)

Much like the other review, Citizen watches available in Australia seem to be several years behind what is available in Japan.
Sakura shipped promptly via DHL and the watch arrived just over a week after placing the order. Well done Sakura.
The F950 Titanium series is so light to wear compared to the stainless steel equivalents. Feels like a dream and looks better.
Setting time is as simple as pressing the top button and pointing the watch to the sky. Within 30 seconds the time will be set from the GPS signal.
2nd time zone is just as easy by pressing buttons A & B together to swap the time, then pulling the middle lug out and rotating to your given time zone from the lower button. Use top button to confirm summer time - yes or no. Press middle lug and time is set.
Press both buttons again with beep and time reverts to current time.
Search Citizen F950 or F900 for youtube videos for more detailed explanations on how to use the watch.
After the dissatisfaction of owning a Tag Heuer, the Citizen keeps much better time and is effectively set and forget with the maintenance free Eco Drive. You do not get ripped off by Tag for the so called " watch servicing"

Beautiful watch, light and comfortable, I wear it all the time. It joins my other Ecodrive which still keeps perfect time after 17 years! I was after a larger and more vivid face that is easier to read, but didn't want a huge watch. Super happy with watch and Sakura service, which I highly recommend - I am in Australia and it arrived after a few days. I might take a trip to Japan to see it set itself.

Very happy with my purchase experience from Sakura. The watch took about 5 days to arrive once shipped, and it was in perfect, new condition. This Grand Seiko may be a quartz, but it is a very impressive movement that won’t require sending it to Japan for a $600 service (or more) every 6-7 years. It is beautiful in person and extremely accurate. It also fits perfectly on my 6.5 in wrist. I have a feeling it won’t be long before Grand Seiko raises the prices on even their more affordable models. This was a great deal at $500 below retail. I would definitely buy from Sakura again.

This is my second watch from Sakura Watches. Received it after 7 business days with FedEx which isn’t too long. Watch and all of its packaging arrived in perfect condition.
The watch looks even more beautiful in person. The deep inky black dial turns to a dark bronze sun ray in bright lighting. it’s like looking down at a full glass of root beer with bright light. The indexes really sparkle at different angles. It’s really hard to capture this in images. The finishing overall is amazing.
I see a lot of people complaining about the bracelet not having micro adjustments, but I was able to size it perfectly to my 6.5” wrist. Removed 3 full links and one half link.
The 9F quartz movement is awesome. Second hand hits each mark solidly. Date changes instantly. So fast that I missed it while waiting for it when I glanced away for half a second.
The design is very Grand Seiko: 4 o clock crown that is beautifully signed GS. 4 o clock internally framed date window to give a clean crisp look and great legibility. Of course the nice Zaratsu polishing on the case sides. Even the bracelet links have polished bevels on the sides.
This is my first GMT watch so I’m still getting used to having that fourth hand. The high contrast white and lumed arrowhead helps me differentiate.
Only the four large Cardinal indexes are lumed but I noticed that the other indexes reflected light from the lume in complete darkness.

I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase. I received excellent support from the customer service department before I purchased the watch. The answered all of my questions in a very reasonable time, and coordinated getting extra links. I was a bit nervous about an international purchase, but now I am glad I did it. The watch was in the original package with all the correct documentation. It was well packaged and protected for is journey to the US. I am glad that I took the time to find a JDM version of this watch, as I think the attention to detail is better than the global versions. I would absolutely recommend this watch. It covers everything. Easy to read dial, day and date, with a quartz movement that is powered by light, and its GREEN! Using the app to set the time is easy, just make sure you hold down the radio button until the second hand goes to the 12 position, and place your phones speaker at the 9 position on the watch. Wait 15 minutes, and its all set. You cant go wrong! I am a big guy, 6'2"(1.8M) tall, and I have a 8-1/2" (216mm) wrist. I think the watch fits me just fine, after I added 2 links. It has the best micro adjustment I have ever had on a watch. You can adjust it about 1 link at any time, without tools. Great for hot days.

This is my first Astron as well. The first time sync took around 2 minutes and it has been smooth sailing since. The weight is remarkably light due to the titanium band and case material. It is subtle enough to be my daily. The horizontal lines are not as contrasting in person compared to the pictures online. This is something I like because I like the color uniformity. Overall, I've had an amazing experience thus far and think I want another Astron in the future.

I love the dial of this watch. It is beautiful and simple at the same time. The hands are perfect for the watch and even though the contrast isn’t strong, it is still very easy to read the time. So far I have only worn the watch with casual outfits, but I am certain it would pair just as well against a dressier style. I have found it to keep very accurate (only plus 2 seconds per day). The lume is average at best - the colour is nice, but only lasts for a very brief period. The kanji dating immediately grabbed my attention as this was my first Japanese domestic watch. Typically I will scroll to kanji anytime the day of the week has rolled over to English as it just looks so good! The watch size is ideal for my wrist as I am 6’7 with a larger wrist. It could be a little too much for a small wrist, but that would ultimately depend on how someone sees it on themselves. Overall, I love this timepiece and would recommend it enthusiastically.
